  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 4 teaspoons butter
  • ½ cup onion, diced
  • ½ cup bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, diced
  • ½ cup low sodium beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 wedge Laughing Cow Cheese, original
  • tablespoons cheddar cheese, shredded


  • Scramble ground beef in skillet until done. Put it in a colander to drain the grease off and wipe out the skillet.
  • Add 4 teaspoons of butter to the skillet, then add veggies and sautee till tender.
  • Add ground beef back to the pan and add everything but the cheese. Boil till the broth is almost gone.
  • Add both of the cheeses to the pan. Lower heat to medium and stir till the cheese is melted.
  • Serve on a whole wheat bun.
