How was this Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza thought up? Well, technically I didn’t “create” it!! We all know that for sure. But I was cleaning out the fridge and pantry one day and I found myself with a handful of ingredients and a craving.
The pita and flatbread in the pantry gave me a craving for pizza. I went with the pita bread because I can have 2 of those for just 1 Yellow container! I go more in-depth about bread products in HERE.
But scrounging thru the fridge was disappointing because I didn’t have any traditional pizza ingredients. I did have a couple of raw chicken tenders that I needed to use. And a new package of turkey bacon that I was going to make into bacon bits.
I didn’t have any pizza sauce but I did have some Mayo-based Ranch Dressing left from salads a little bit of a couple of different cheeses. Right there I realized I had all the makings for a Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza!!
Let’s get started everything ready Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza
First off I didn’t have to make my ranch dressing from scratch, I already had some made. I am going to share the recipe for mine but you could always use an approved store-bought ranch dressing instead because I would if I needed to save time! I give some information about store-bought salad dressings HERE.
Mayonnaise Ranch Dressing
Ingredients
- ½ cup mayonnaise or veganaise
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 3 Tbsp almond milk or any milk
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp Mrs. Dash seasoning
- ¼ tsp dried dill
- ¼ tsp salt and pepper or to taste
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients well. Let stand in the fridge at least 1 hour or overnight.
Container count/ Serving size
- 1 Orange container or 2 tablespoons.
Next, I needed to cook my chicken and bacon. I cook my bacon in the oven. I cook an entire package at a time and after it cools I cut it up with scissors for bacon bits (about the only way I can eat turkey bacon). Different brands cook in the oven differently. The Applegate brand in my pictures never really gets ‘crisp” and that is perfect for these kinds of recipes, where I am going to “recook” them anyway. I use it in my Alice Springs Chicken recipe too. You could just fry up a couple of pieces for your pizza instead of baking an entire package!
I cut the chicken up small, added a little salt and pepper. Then I sprayed a pan with olive oil spray and did a quick stir-fry on it. About 5-6 minutes because I am going to cook it “MORE” it doesn’t have to be 100% done and it will keep it from getting rock hard when you recook it on the pizza. I have used leftover grilled chicken for this and you could even use store-bought rotisserie chicken too!
Last but not least…
The last thing to have ready is your cheese. You can use any cheese you want or have on hand. I had a little bit of a block of mozzarella that I grated for 1/2 Blue container and I filled the other half with shredded parmesan cheese. I never use pre-shredded mozzarella cheese if I want it to melt fully cuz the pre-shredded is coated with a non-sticking product that keeps it from melting right.
Let’s build a pizza
Start by preheating your oven to 400 degrees. Then toast your pieces of pita bread or flat in the oven for 3 minutes on each side. Then spread 2 tablespoons (1 orange container) of ranch dressing over the toasted bread.
Just pile the chicken, bacon, and cheese on!!
All that is left to do is bake them.

Container Counts 21 Day Fix/Ultimate Portion Fix:
- For the 2 pita bread pizzas pictured. 1Yellow 1Red 1Orange 1Blue
- This count is for Joseph's 60 calorie pita bread. If you don't use those then you may have to change the count to fit the pita you use.
You can cook these in your air fryer. Mine only takes about 6-8 minutes in there, just till the cheese gets bubbly and everything is hot!
Sometimes if I am only going to eat 1 pita bread pizza I layer it with 1/2 of the ranch on the toasted pita and then I add the rest of the ranch dressing to the top of the pizza after it comes out of the oven!
You can even add veggies to them if you wanted. Mushrooms and onions go great with these flavors.
Can you make other stuff using some of these flavors?
Yes! The next day I decided to up my game and made a veggie ranch pizza!! Mushrooms, peppers, onions, and fresh tomatoes.
Layered it all on a toasted whole wheat flatbread.
You could totally add meat to it, chicken or maybe some Italian flavored chicken sausage! You can totally change the veggie too. I have even seen broccoli on a pizza but I am just not going to go there.
I consider pizza as a one-dish meal most of the time, so I usually don’t plan a side dish with it. BUT I do plan DESSERT!!
I also have topped a baked potato with chicken, bacon, ranch, and cheese. Learn more about potatoes and the Fix HERE.
I have even mixed my chicken, bacon, and ranch together and used it to top a salad. You might need to thin the dressing down a little so you don’t have to add any more to the salad.
What about that dessert? I love the ice cream taste of these banana bonbons!! Find the recipe HERE.
. Who doesn’t LOVE pizza and ice cream!! It really feels like a cheat
